Statement on COVID-19

Posted on: April 1st, 2020

JubileeeScape takes very seriously our responsibility for the health and safety of our team, our customers, and the communities we serve in the ongoing fight against the continued spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).

I want to personally share with you the precautionary steps we’ve taken over the past few weeks to deliver on that commitment.

Reduced Need for Face to Face Meetings:   We are limiting meetings and huddles as much as possible, and guidelines ensure ample space between personnel.  We have all the tools needed to collaborate digitally, and can engage with one another and with customers using Zoom, FaceTime and other conferencing platforms.

On the Property:  Our teams are avoiding interior courtyard spaces on client properties, and as much as possible avoiding the need to enter buildings.

Employee Health is Paramount:  JubileeScape employees are family.  Ensuring their safety and ability to care for themselves and their own families is the highest priority.   All our full time team members have PTO and we are encouraging them to use it as necessary.  Any team member that appears to not be feeling well is encouraged to go home.   In addition, we are cross-training personnel to ensure continuity when a team member may need to be absent for an extended period of time.

(Extra) Spring Cleaning:   We’ve implemented rigid steps to disinfect our trucks and equipment on a regular basis, ensure space between crew members as they travel between jobsites, and provide sanitizer with (PPE) personal protective equipment for all JubileeScape field employees.

JubileeScape is aggressively following best practices guidelines from the NALP (National Association of Landscape Providers) as well as local, state and federal health advisories.

Many of us here on the Gulf Coast mark life chapters by major events like a Hurricane Camille or Frederick, or the Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill. This pandemic becomes yet another crisis milestone I’m certain we will rally through together.      At a time of grave uncertainty- we need the certainty and beauty of nature and all its healing powers – more than ever.
